I’ve been thinking a lot lately about innocence. One of the things I love about working with children as a photographer is that they are in their own world. If we’re lucky, we get a chance to glimpse the magic through their eyes captured in a photograph.

Strange New World
I look at the image of this family embracing and I remember. I remember what it was like to witness intimate moments of connection. It’s one of the things I miss the most in this new world where we wear masks and keep six feet apart. We humans are wired to embrace, hold, touch. How wonderful it will be when we can all …just be together… again.
